Purpose
PM520M is designed to monitor the radiation situation and ensure the radiation safety at various facilities.

Description
PM520M includes an Information Board (IB), a Processing Unit (PU) and a Gamma Radiation Detection Unit (DU).
IB and DU are connected to the PU and powered via the RS485 communication line up to 1000 m.
DU is powered from a 9-12 V DC power supply. The PM520M includes a 220 V/12 V AC power adapter (optional).
DU continuously measures the ambient dose equivalent rate (DER) and displays the measurement result on the IB.
The software allows you to set the DER threshold value. When threshold value is exceeded, sound and light alarms are triggered.
The PM520M includes an external additional sound and light signaling device (optional).

PU has a built-in non-volatile memory for storing information about the instrument operation.
PU can be connected to a PC via the USB interface for configuration, diagnostics and viewing information stored in the non-volatile memory.
