The Intersec Startup Arena offers fledgling startups the chance to directly connect with representatives of major brands, government institutions and other organisations on the lookout for highly innovative solutions to their specific problems.
In one presentation, you can catapult your startup from obscurity into a game-changing partnership, providing you with the investment and mentorship needed to take it from concept to commercialisation.
What happens on the day?
If you successfully apply and are invited to become part of the Intersec Startup Arena at the 2025 event, you will join the other applicants from 14 - 16 January 2024 at the arena, where you will have a dedicated 4m2 startup pod to host visitors.
You will also be assigned a 20-minute slot on the main Innovation Stage (subject to availability) to present your startup and its featured solutions. The remainder of the day will provide you amply opportunity to connect with prospective partners and investors.
Is my startup eligible?
To be eligible for the Intersec Startup Arena, your company must:
- Provide solutions that fit into one or several of the Intersec product categories
- Retain fewer than 15 employees
- Have been in business for under 5 years
How much does it cost to participate?
Companies that make a successful application will be offered a spot at the Intersec Startup Arena. Should you accept, the entrance fee is US$ 3,000 + VAT. This is a one-off fee inclusive of all infrastructure, activities and marketing materials throughout the show, including:
- Dedicated 4m2 startup pod within a 9m2 area (inclusive of electricity and furniture)
- 20 min speaking slot on the Innovation Stage (first come first served)
- Your company logo on the Intersec website
- Social media promotion
- Featured spotlight on Intersec emailer campaigns
- Product upload on Intersec show app
- Company listing on show app
- Back-end access to Intersec show mobile app for optimal data collection and lead generation
