Nagi Souaiby

Nagi Souaiby

Dr. Nagi Souaiby is Emergency, Forensic Medicine and Medical Law specialist graduated from the Universities of Montpellier and Paris. He got the “Medical Council of Canada” license and received a double European Master in “Public Health” and “Hospital and Health Management” from ESA Business School of Beirut and Paris VII. He is a lecturer in forensic medicine at USJ Faculty of Medicine and a medical law instructor at the Ecole Supérieure des Affaires in Beirut. He is also an expert to the European Union and the World Health Organization. Dr Souaiby is the founder and president of New Health Concept, that provides consultancy to health institutions and professionals to implement their projects and to defend themselves in the event of liability.

Neil’s career commenced as an operational firefighter in the late 1970’s, he progressed through the ranks to become Deputy Chief Fire Officer of Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service, following the successful merger of the two services. Neil was lead officer for fire protection within the UK Chief Fire Officers Association (now NFCC) from 2007 to 2013, chairing the group that managed the implementation of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order. Since moving on from the fire and rescue service Neil has been President and CEO of the Institution of Fire Engineers. He was chair of a national working group set up to improve product safety recalls, appointed by the then BEIS  Minister Margot James. The working group’s report lead directly to the creation of the Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS).

Dr. Omar R. Kaddouha is the Director Flight Safety and Chief Accident Investigator in the Lebanese Ministry of Transport responsible for certifying airlines, Training Organizations, Maintenance providers, UAVs and Ground Handlers. He graduated from Toulouse Business School holding a Doctorate degree of Business Administration with a focus on Regional Aviation Institutional Cooperation Framework. He holds an Aerospace Management Master’s degree from ESC Toulouse and has an extensive experience in the Aviation Regulatory environment and in Aviation Industry with more than 24 years mainly in flight operations, airworthiness and personnel licensing areas.

Serving as the Chief Fire Officer for Nawah at Barakah Nuclear Power Plant commanding the On Site Fire Brigade, he has spent his entire career leading in operations, fire prevention and training and development. Joined municipal fire brigade in 1983, rising through the ranks to Commander before retiring in 2012. Spent time participating and leading in Operations, Fire Prevention and Training and Development.

Tim is a regular invited speaker at International conferences speaking on a broad range of Health Safety and Occupational Health issues.

Tomasz is currently managing the Certification Department at ESL (Emirates Safety Laboratory), where he is responsible for establishing certification services for fire and life safety products. Prior to moving to the UAE, Tomasz worked 15 years at the Scientific & Research Centre for Fire Protection (CNBOP-PIB) as a Fire Service Officer specialised in product certification and auditing of factory production control systems internationally.

Tomasz holds a Master’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering. He is author and co-author of various engineering and conformity assessment literatures with the objective to raise awareness and disseminate knowledge and best practices in the field of fire and life safety.
